How the two books fit together

A data center is the most demanding building a project team will deliver. Once it is open, it becomes a facility that someone has to keep alive.

Build it

Schedules, procurement, change orders and commissioning, written for the person responsible for the whole project.

Keep it running

Maintenance strategy, condition assessment, work orders and lifecycle cost for the years after turnover.

Prove it is safe

Inspection methods, life safety, accessibility and environmental health, with findings that can be closed out.
